HICKMAN, AR (WMC-TV) - The Coast Guard called off the search for two men missing from a barge that overturned and sank in the Mississippi River on Tuesday.
Ron Nieves and Nicolas Perez were unaccounted for shortly after the barge capsized; they reportedly fell into the water while workers unloaded the barge at a terminal.
Coast Guard has suspended all searching pending any new information.
The Mississippi River is back open for normal barge traffic, according to the Coast Guard.
