LITTLE ROCK, AR - Volunteers grabbed their trash bags and worked to clear a massive pile of trash found in Fourche Creek in Little Rock.

Volunteers with Keep Little Rock Beautiful (KLRB) spent 5 hours at the creek Saturday and filled 85 bags of debris. They collected soda bottles, cans, sporting equipment, oil containers, detergent containers, styrofoam and much more.

KLRB says the trash is a cycle and consistent problem at Fourche Creek. Now they're hoping Arkansans can get involved in the effort to keep the Natural State clean.

Volunteers will be at the end of Scott Hamilton Drive on W 65th Street next Saturday April 12th at 9am, if you'd like to help out.

For more information on how you can get involved and make a difference, contact Norm Berner with Keep Little Rock Beautiful at 501-765-3530 or send an email to
