LITTLE ROCK, AR- When you think of technology and a start up culture, the Silicon Valley may come to mind, but now experts believe we are starting to see a shift.

According to The SpareFoot Blog, an online market place for consumers, it lists Little Rock as America's top five "under the radar" tech hubs.

It's news that comes as no surprise to tech start-up groups in the capitol city. Mike Steely with the Arkansas Venture Center told me a lot of Arkansans are expressing interest in having their own business. Just this past month alone, about 30 entrepreneurs came to his center looking for help to kick start their own company. Steely says this is great news for Arkansas' economy.

"We are going to be able to pull in a lot of creative people and bring new ideas and most importantly new jobs to the area," says Mike Steely, Arkansas Venture Center Founder.

The reason Steely believes people want to start a business in Little Rock is because it's a friendly area with a lot of capabilities and talent here.
