Animal Officers Asking Public For Help After Husky's Death

LITTLE ROCK, AR- Animal Control Officers still asking the public for information about a dog who washed ashore an Arkansas Riverbank in Maumelle Wednesday.

The husky named River died early Saturday morning from complications.

Maumelle Animal Services Officers are investigating this as an animal abuse and neglect case.

They found River emaciated with parasites and lacerations throughout his body, his stomach full of mud and clay, and tar on his ears and muzzle.
