Little Rock, AR - Two year old Mati Moorehead beat cancer as a baby, and now her mother is targeting the disease.

Mati was diagnosed with cancer before she was born and had to endure three rounds of chemotherapy, but today Mati is cancer free.

Over the last 16 months her mother has been trying to finalize a new way to raise awareness.  Kara Moorehead came up with an idea for an Arkansas State license plate to benefit the Arkansas Children's Hospital.  This week the plates were made available at local revenue offices.

Kara said, "It's so emotional for me because I felt from the very beginning that God had a purpose for Mati having cancer, and for a long time I wasn't real sure what that was.

"She's cured, she's going to be fine, and I want her to say, you know, she had a part in helping find a cure for others."
