LITTLE ROCK, AR – Weekend sports anchor, Jason Snavely, poured ice cold water over his head to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

When challenged, a person has to douse him or herself with the chilling water and post it on social media or donate to the cause.

The challenge was started by Pete Frates, 29, of Massachusetts who has had ALS since 2012.

Once the challenge is complete, the person then challenges others. Jason challenged Aaron Nolan.
