Relief Drive for Maumelle Flood Victims

MAUMELLE, AR - A relief drive is under way for local families in need after their homes were damaged in flash flooding Sunday.

The City of Maumelle is coordinating the project to help impacted residents get back on their feet.

Parts of Maumelle received up to 6 inches of rain in a short period of time as strong storms rolled across the city twice within just a few hours. 

There are dozens of families that have had significant damage to their homes and personal items. One of the hardest hit areas was inside the Gables Apartments complex on Murphy Drive. 

Immediate needs are:
  • Moving Boxes and Packing Tape
  • Garbage Bags
  • Gloves
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Cleaning Supplies
Drop off locations:
  • The Gables Apartments Office, 1500 Union Ct.
  • Maumelle Senior Wellness Center, 550 Edgewood Dr.
