BENTON COUNTY - A Hiwasse man was sentenced to a decade behind bars this week for robbing a Rogers bank.

Jeremy Jarvis pleaded guilty Wednesday to aggravated robbery and theft of property.

He was arrested last December, after Rogers police say he walked into a Regions Bank and claimed to have a gun. Jarvis demanded money from the teller and took off with the cash.

A Benton County judge sentenced Jarvis to 10 years in prison, plus an additional 10 years suspended following his release.
