- MAYFLOWER, AR - Donations are pouring in and now Mayflower Elementary School is ready to go for the 2014-2015 school year.

Oasis Church in Maumelle and Conway Regional Medical Center dropped off boxes filled with school supplies.

Both groups held school supply drives in response to the April tornadoes.

"We had kindergarten camp a few weeks ago and during that time we had five kindergarten families ask if we would be able to help with supplies. Since we have been doing registration, several others have already come in," says Candie Watts, Mayflower Elementary Principal.

The school had 67 families affected by the April tornadoes in need of help.
