ArkYank, I'm really hoping that Arkansas will not elect another democrat as governor any time soon, especially D McDaniel, who is anti-capitalism.. . I wish that Tim Griffin would get in the running...

Beebe's mad b/c the truth hurts!!! We do have a lot of illegals moving to this state though, just take a look at Little Mexico in SWLR...So where's all that economic growth that illegals help to build? Oh I know, it's over at UAMS from all the medicaid/care money that they're racking up on by delivering all of those little anchor babies...

And I thought I was alone in my opinions of politicians. Good to see other Americans that feel the same way. itsjustme; I think we have Beebe until 2014. Bad news for AR. The AG is going to run then also; more bad news for AR.

As far as Beebe goes, take a look at how many companies have either shut down or left Arkansas since he has been in office. Its a staggering number. He has done nothing for us but bleed us to death. These f'ing politicians want to run up big ass tabs on stupid stuff then want the tax payers to pick up the check. Screw them.

The good news is that Beebe is termed out this year, thank God. Pat, we dont need more prisons and more cops to fight the crime. We need a justice system with a backbone that isnt afraid to properly punish someone in fear of stepping on their rights. We need state leaders that will put a stop to this BS lawsuit over the execution process, we need prosecutors that will prosecute, not plea bargain, we need to abolish the parole board. There are lots of things that need to change, remember this when you vote this year.

Amen @ Arkansas Yankee. It is hard to attract companies when they see all the Crime and murders in Arkansas, most in the Little Rock area. Corrupt officials and cops selling pounds of drugs and taking bribes, and lets not forget the Meth problem and now the Heron problem "the guys arrested in Austin". Not a real good place I would want to set up shop and try to hire a competent work force wandering if they are going to be a liability to the company. Even the AFB has had a big drug problem this past year.

Remember the story the other day? Arkansas ranked 3rd poorest state in the Nation. Where were the governor's comments then?

Taxes are high Mr. Beebe! Take a look around Arkansas and see all companies closin down or leaving. We cant pay the Taxes when the JOBS are gone!So people move to where the Jobs are and its not Arkansas! Whirpool, Kraft, Gas Company up in Searcy lays off a couple hundred, Camp Robbie, and a lots more. People cant pay the High Taxes on $9.00 an hour and feed and clothe their family and pay the mortgage. On a $150k mortgage it would take you more than a months pay to just pay the Taxes on your home at $9.00 an hour. I am retired military and from Fort Smith. I wanted to retire in Arkansas but its not going to happen. We are selling out and moving to where the jobs are at and its not ARKANSAS
