EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) — Authorities arrested the husband of a 27-year-old El Dorado woman after she was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say Ebony Nichelle Miles was found shot early Saturday morning, and she was taken to Medical Center of South Arkansas, where she was pronounced dead. Her husband, 30-year-old Quadro K. Miles, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder three hours later at a night club.
Police say the newly married couple got into an argument and Ebony Miles ran next door for help. Neighbors said she screamed, "He's going to kill me!" and that they then heard gunshots. Police say Ebony Miles was found on the ground in front of her neighbor's house.
Quadro Miles is scheduled for a first appearance hearing Monday in Union County District Court.
