What happens when a statewide disaster hits and some of these small armories are closed? Then What? some of these small communities rely on these small armories .Now as for the personnel and some its equipment all of that will be absorbed by the much larger units .The bottom line here is its the Governor who would have a say in this matter he will base his decision in part by the word of the Commanding General of the Arkansas state National Guard.Having served on active duty and with the Active Reserve as well in the state guard it all boils down to funding.
