JACK MOUNTAIN, Ark. (AP) — A project to replace drainage culverts under Arkansas Highway 128 in Hot Spring County will require the road to be closed beginning Monday.

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department says the improvements will be done near Jack Mountain from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, weather permitting.

Highway officials say message boards will be in place on Arkansas Highways 84 and 290 to route traffic through the area.

Officials are urging motorists to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
