LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — An Arkansas lawmaker says he was suffering from dehydration when he was taken from the state Capitol to the hospital, but is feeling better.

State Rep. Jon Hubbard was back at the Capitol on Wednesday, the day after he was taken to a Little Rock hospital by ambulance. Hubbard said he spent Tuesday night at the hospital, but that tests were fine.

Doctors at the Capitol on Tuesday recommended Hubbard be taken to the hospital after he said he was short of breath.

Hubbard is a Republican from Jonesboro who was elected to the House in 2010. Last year he was hospitalized in Jonesboro after he suffered a mild heart attack.
