HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. (AP) — Helena-West Helena police say they've charged a 21-year-old man with capital murder after a 16-year-old was found fatally shot last week.

Raphael Walker is accusing of killing Ronnie Franklin, according to Sgt. Roy Covington, commander of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Helena-West Helena Police Department.

Franklin was found Oct. 16 lying on a sidewalk in a pool of blood, with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. He later died at a hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a sophomore at Helena-West Helena Central.

Walker is being held without bond at the Phillips County Jail.
