LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Attorney General Dustin McDaniel says he's raised more than $1 million during the first three months of fundraising for his 2014 bid for governor.

McDaniel's campaign says he filed his first campaign finance report with the Arkansas Secretary of State's office on Monday.

His campaign says it received more than $1 million from 883 people or businesses in the fiscal quarter that ended Sept. 30.

McDaniel is a Democrat and the only announced candidate for the state's top office so far.

His campaign says it spent more than $138,000 during the quarter.
