OZARK, Ark. (AP) — The Franklin County sheriff says arrests were down this year during the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival.

Sheriff Anthony Boen says about 66 people were arrested in the county during the four-day festival, which began last week and ended Sunday. Last year, the sheriff's office logged 85 arrests during the festival on Mulberry Mountain.

Boen says the arrest numbers are countywide — not just from the festival itself.

The sheriff tells the Southwest Times Record (http://is.gd/wfUsIu ) that the arrests were for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and drug-related offenses.

This summer marks the fourth year Wakarusa has held its festival on Mulberry Mountain near Ozark. Thousands of people attend the annual festival, which features more than 100 musical acts.
