It was Bush's fault. If you don't believe me just ask Obama, he'll tell you the same thing. There should be no dot here though, when you camp you are at risk of the elements. Tragic what happened, but it is what it is.

The next time someone drowns in a Corps. lake I say lets blow the dam so no body else will drown there. I always enjoyed camping up there and enjoying the solitude there, but always remained aware of the surroundings and going ons of nature.

We love ours Butch. Thanks for the tip. Besides who would stay in a low lying area in that kind of stormy weather. Words do come to mind. Best left unsaid. We'll be in camp with you this weekend.

It's called Satelite Radio. I have one. Have for a long time. It's called I'm a camper that knows enough to take care of mine and myself. The great things about my radio is it plays everywhere. Well not under dense trees, large overpasses, and next to some bluffs. Maybe in answering foolish questions I can save a few from making the same mistake. I also called off a trip that week due to watching the currant and future forecast. It's called good planning.

That's right. People decided not to heed the warnings of flash floods in that area. The only ones I feel sorry for are the ones that were to young to know better. If you camp it is your responsibility to be prepared for the known and unknown. It's a shame when the people think the government should hold their hand.
