Update: Authorities in Cross County murder have made an arrest

An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of a Cross County woman.
According to the Arkansas State Police, at 4 p.m., a Seattle, Washington homicide task force squad took Rene' Patrick Bourassa, Jr, 34, into custody. Bourassa was driving the Mercury Marquis belonging to Lillian Wilson.

In an earlier report, Fox16 reported that state police obtained pictures from business video-surveillance cameras of two suspects in the death of an elderly woman whose body was found at a church in a Cross County community.

State police said Wednesday that investigators were asking for public assistance in identifying the two men shown in three separate shots. The release said the pictures were taken at different locations.

According to authorities, the body of 80-year-old Lillian Wilson was found Sunday between two pews in the Central Methodist Church near Wynne.

State police said Wednesday her car had been spotted in Missouri and Washington state. As of Monday, two people named as "persons of interest" were eliminated from the case.
