LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - One of two Little Rock police officers indicted on drug charges has resigned from the force.

Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Terry Hastings said Friday that Randall Tremayn Robinson's attorney sent a letter of resignation for his client.

The other officer, Anthony Jones, remains on paid administrative leave. Hastings says the disciplinary process against Jones is continuing.

Last week, a federal judge ordered the men to remain in custody pending a June 4 detention hearing.

Both are charged with conspiring to aid and abet and attempting to aid and abet the possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possessing a firearm while taking part in a drug-trafficking crime.

I hate a crooked "Cop", if this is a hate crime, so be it. I hope the Fed's lock all of them up for a long time. I will give some advice, while in prison, if you drop the soap in the showers look around to see who is behind you before picking up the soap..

A change in H&R may be needed for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. This should have been "caught" a long time ago before them being hired..

It is so damned dumb to pay a cop for this type of an offense when they are in jail. Get a grip on reality Little Rock and stop the pay.

One down, one to go. Seems the other is gonna milk the "paid administrative leave" for as long as he can.
