10 earthquakes rattle Faulkner County

A series of earthquakes, including one with a magnitude of 3.9, has rattled parts of central Arkansas.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported a number of temblors near Guy on Saturday, with magnitudes ranging from 1.7 to 3.9.

The strongest quake occurred about 1 p.m., and was felt as far away as northwestern Arkansas. Some reports placed that quake's magnitude at 4.2.

There were no reports of injuries or structural damage.

Do the words New Madrid mean anything? This fault line produces 20 events a month, which can be felt in Arkansas!!! So stop blaming the oil and gas industry for every quake here in Arkansas.

How long will it take them to gain some brain and send these FRACERS out of our state! They need to go elsewhere and FRAC.IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I mean wake up people and admit you made a mistake by letting them on your property.
