LITTLE ROCK, AR – A man who burglarized numerous homes for sale in central Arkansas was sentenced to 13-years in prison Wednesday.
George Sedberry pleaded guilty to the
crimes he committed last August. Police say Sedberry would research homes for sale then steal the keys out of the realtor lock boxes. Sedberry would return a few days later to burglarize the home, stealing mostly jewelry.
Sedberry was accused of committing burglaries in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Maumelle, Benton, and Bryant.
When he was arrested, police say they found several pieces of jewelry, electronics, and lock boxes throughout the house and in his car. The stolen items were later returned to their owners.
