There was a breeder on the jacksonvulle/cabot line selling over 10 different breeds of dogs, keeping them all outside in cages, and when I called about a dog the breeder stated she would "hose the dog down" before I got there. I called every humane agency in the area to see if they could check it out, and at that time they all said it was out of their jurisdiction. I have not been able to locate their adds sense then, but I hope everytime I hear of a mill being shut down that it was this one. What was the name of this one? I have also been trying to find out if "paw paws kennels" were shut down.

Dogs are property and not human. That's why they can be sold in stores. Animals should not be elevated to the value of humans but that's today's society as out of whack as it may be. If there was no demand there would be no puppy mills. So dog lovers who want puppies are the reason that puppy mills exist.

Bravo! Hopefully these doggies & puppers will eventually get the love and find the good homes they so much deserve. How long is it going to take for our lawmakers to do something about these stupid "puppy mills"? I think that ALL of the people who operate or are involved in the operation of this (kind of) horrible place should be chained up out in the same pens where the doggies were kept, given nothing but hot water to drink, and allowed to do nothing but lay around in their own excrement for a week or so in the hot sun - maybe that would open up their eyes and make them realize the suffering that they had bestowed on these helpless, innocent creatures! Doing this would also act as a deterrent to anyone else that elects to commit this kind of crime. Erecting "stocks" in the courthouse front lawns might also be a good way to punish the offenders - a few days spent with their necks & arms clamped & locked in wooden stocks would definitely show everyone that the community is serious about putting an end to this kind of animal torture.

This is the kind of news that really gets me made at someone. My dogs love it out side but in this heat no way. Just to take care of their business. The stupidest thing in this case is they call the dogs animals.
