PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) — An Arkansas prosecutor says he plans to charge a teenager as a juvenile in the shooting death of a 12-year-old boy.
Prosecutor Kyle Hunter said Monday that the teen likely will face some sort of homicide charge in the death of Quinshun Parks. But Hunter says he hasn't decided which charge to file yet.
Quinshun died at a hospital this weekend after Pine Bluff police say he was wounded in what appears to have been an accidental shooting.
Pine Bluff Police Lt. Bob Rawlinson says the teen suspected in Quinshun's death turned himself in after the shooting.
The teen's name has not been released because he's a juvenile.
