Situations like this are only going to get worse. When a man works two weeks for his money and some fool runs and steals it he becomes a slave: Working without pay is equal to slavery. No money means no utilities, no gas and for the average person--no money for groceries. The fact that this boy had no moral compass and no sense of decency to understand what his actions do to others is an indictment against black culture because this is par for the course in the black community all across America. There are children all over this world who work at the age of 9 to help their families just buy groceries. They are responsible at 11 yrs old to know what is right and proper. The only miscarriage of justice here is a charge of Murder 1.

LSSLSM like you said you and your husband not all childern live in a two party home and whos to say that young man wouldve change as he got older and became someone productive also and yes it really is a blessing when our children turn out the way we expect them to and its not always about our kids doing wrong things cause things happen to innocent kids all the time rapist and murders are held accountable then so why shouldnt the killer in this situation not be held accountable and its eay to say what our kids dont do or didnt when the case could as simple as they jus didnt get caught doing it ijs

Hey tihaj - Yes I would know if my kid was or was not in school. No, my kids are not perfect nor am I a perfect parent - NO ONE is perfect - but - my kids do NOT steal and they are NOT on drugs. AND they - get this - talk to us about their problems and want advice! Two of them are currently serving our country in the military. For them to turn out productive, honest citizens I am very thankful BUT it took alot of years of hard work. BOTH me and my spouse WORK and yet, we still managaged to turn out some decent kids. And Geeze - take your friggin' caps lock off.

It is always easy to blame the parents for their kids mistakes when thats not always the case many of us was taught the right things by our parents and still decided to do the wrong things at times there is no perfect parent nor is there a perfect child just because you teach your children they right way to handle life situations dont mean they will always abide by that children do make mistakes jus as well as adults we are not able to watch our children 24 hours some mothers have to work to provide for their children and alot of women are doing it by themselves so why pass judgement on a mother jus like many mothers struggle to make ends meet and as far as the man that stop these young minor boys and ask them to help him find a stolen gun and offer them money to do so it dont seem like his intentons was good anyways it was inappropiate anyways the boys wasnt looking for trouble it came to them obviously by the tapes and to be and adult and make such a horrible decision to chase these young men instead of calling the police the pulaski county police department was only a street over from the store now if someone 58 can make such a huge mistake why is it so hard to believe that a teen is capable not to think before they act but the adult shouldve been the bigger person and then to run over a child and continue to tortue him afterwards dont sound like a person with a conscious or good sense im a single mom myself and im commited to teaching my children guding them encourging them but most of all loving them but that dont always stop them from making mistakes because they are not perfect and for the those who say the man was right to chase a child 10 blocks and kill him in cold blood ur intitled to ur opinion but i cant side with someone who is capable of doing something so cold what did he prosper besides a murder sentence and a million dollar bond killed for 1300 hundred dollars and now have a million dollar bond for it money really is the rule of all evil

In response to tihaj - ... "WHAT IF IT WAS UR CHILD WOULD IT BE OK???????????????" Well, it WASN'T one of MY 3 kids because my spouse and I are on them 24/7 teaching them right from wrong and MAKING SURE they are on the right path in life and stepping in to take control when they stray from that path. Being ACTIVELY involved in your childs life, monitoring who their friends are, all the while giving equal love and discipline, IT'S CALLED PARENTING. Is it easy?? HELL NO - but I CHOSE to be a parent so it is MY DUTY.

It's a shame a young person is dead. Can't say that a rational person would have responded the way the driver did. But I disagree with anyone who says that just because the teen was enrolled in alternative school, and was not in school that day, and chose to steal a wallet......well, that may not make him a bad kid? Sure as heck doesn't make him a model student. And for those that think the driver should have just called the police....when was last time the LRPD even took the time to investigate a theft, much less solve one? The news is filled everyday with stories of Little Rock teenagers who started out as Little Rock theives and are now Little Rock murderers. And you can bet their mommas thought they were good kids once upon a time.
