FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — A federal judge has sentenced two Rogers men in separate child pornography cases.

U.S. District Judge Jimm Hendren sentenced Brandon Davis to 40 years in prison for production of child pornography and possessing a cell phone that contained child pornography. Hendren also sentenced Joel Church to five years for possession of child pornography.

Authorities say Davis recorded a video of himself engaged in a sexual act with a child for whom he was caring last year. Davis pleaded guilty in April.

Prosecutors say the FBI began investigating a Florida resident who allegedly sent at least two child pornography images via email to Church's home address and to Freedom Bible College, which Church owned and operated.

An attorney for both men, John Schisler, didn't immediately return requests after hours seeking comment.
