2 Neighborhood Joggers Admit to Stealing Items from Cars, Garages

Police questioned them, and eventually, they admitted to taking things from cars in the area, including some left in garages with the doors still open.
BRYANT, AR -- A pair of early morning joggers were caught doing more than getting a little exercise, after admitting to breaking into cars.

Bryant police say 20-year-olds Joshua Demarest (pictured, left) and Tommy Lee Gire were spotted by a concerned citizen in a neighborhood jogging Monday morning.

Police questioned them, and eventually, they admitted to taking things from cars in the area, including some left in garages with the doors still open.

The men face several charges.

Police using the incident to remind people to lock their cars and keep garage doors closed.
