I'm a parent, grandparent and great grandparent, these children are so precious and constantly have our undivided attention. I don't understand how anyone could "forget" the children in the back seat. We are given the responsibility to love them and care for them while under our supervision, I cannot start to imagine how the parents feel....

Ths is truly a sad thing. What really gets me is how many people walked by this vehicle without ever knowing that baby was suffering. Or worse yet who walked by and heard him and didn't stop. I live in Springdale and this particular Walmart is always busy. It breaks my heart to think that baby suffered and someone might have heard him. But thats the last thing you expect during this heat..so we don't look in car as we pass them. And they try to say they were only in there 45 minutes..like that time would have been ok. It still probablly would have been the same fate. My prayers go out to this family. I have a two year old and can't imagine losing her. truly sad story.

Put these old ass people in a hot car and leave them for two hours. This kind of crap makes me sick to my stomach. Having to live with this on their conscience for the rest of their stupid lives is not enough. These dumbasses should suffer far worse. How ignorant can you be to leave a child in a car for ANY period of time in this high heat?

I am beyond sickened, how could anyone think leaving children that are helpless in a hot car for any amount of time is ok?? I believe anyone who commits a crime of any sort against children should be put to death! There is NO EXCUSE for leaving a child in a car un this heat!!

Whatt a sad situation. the report reads and we have read that the folks responsible are the great grandparents. None of us know the great grandparents and don't know anything about their health. they could be very slow moving people, they may not be used to taking care of small babies and depending on their age, they could have very easily forgot about the baby ( if its out of the norm for them to care for the baby). I am not making any exuses for them, however I am looking at the whole picture. I for one have been a caretaker/nurse in the medical field and taking care of the elderly. I know very well how forgetful some elderly people can be. I can only pray this was an accident and not intentful. Like I said I'm not making exuses, I pray for all who is involoved. May that poor baby RIP

Someone thinking Walmart is supposed to be responsible for everything should take a picture of themselves. We could put it on a poster fot the most stupid person. They haven't had those little trucks driving the parking lots for years. Say you don't get out much. I see why. Can't except the responsibility of being out n public. Things Walmart is not responsible for. Your purses, Children, credit cards, Cars, so on and so forth. The cameras are there for there binifit. Yes sometimes out ofthere kindnes they may check he footage for others but they don't have to. The grangparents dropped the ball and that is all there is to it. Walmart is big ut there not God. Take care of your own stuff.

You have got to be pretty damn stupid to NOT know that leaving a child in a car in this summer heat would be ok for ANY amount of time. Something else going on in these cases.
