2 plead guilty in firebombing of couple's home

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Two men accused of participating in the firebombing of an interracial couple's house have pleaded guilty to conspiracy against rights and criminal violation of housing rights.
The U.S. Department of Justice says Dustin Hammond and Jake Murphy entered the pleas Tuesday. Prosecutors say Hammond and Murphy admitted they and two other men on Jan. 14 planned the firebombing of the couple's home in Hardy.
Officials say they rode with Jason Barnwell and Gary Dodson to the location, constructed the explosives and threw them at the mobile home. Officials say the couple also was barraged with racial slurs and threatened with future violence.
The couple wasn't hurt.
Barnwell, Dodson and Wendy Treybig are scheduled to go on trial May 31.
Attorneys for Hammond and Murphy didn't immediately return calls seeking comment.
