You can put sprinkles on a pile of dog crap to try to make it look better, but in the end, its still dog crap. Get rid of the trash (hood rats, thugs, drug dealers, etc) and maybe, just maybe, people will want to come to the area.

Until you get rid of the ghetto thug element that exists, this will be a total waste of time and money. The main reason people do not go there is the danger of getting robbed or killed by the ghetto thugs.

As long as they don't make the same mistakes as the last half dozen or so have. They have to add parking, they need to have a GOOD reason for people to go there, and they need the economy to improve. The parking garage needs to be finished before anything else, otherwise it won't be convenient for people and they won't go. But there needs to be more, clubs & entertainment are good, but something that is cheap and family friendly will do more good than trendy stores.

How many times have millions been spent to spruce up Main Street? What guarantee's will be given for the money spent this time?
