$3,692 stolen from Walgreens during early morning robbery

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Little Rock Police are investigating the robbery of the Walgreens at 3901 West Markham Street that happened Saturday morning.

According to police, the suspect pointed a gun at employees who were unloading a truck at the store around 6:28am. The suspect forced the two into the store and and got the safe opened. The report says the suspect took $3,692, which was in a clear plastic box, from the safe.

The suspect is described as 35 to 45-years-old, 5’8” tall about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black leather coat with a hoodie over his head, a black bandanna covering his face, black shirt, black pants, white gloves, and a silver revolver.

One of the employees had to open the front door of the store so the man could run away, headed southbound.
