@ Lizabeth. Just how quick you are to judge these folks! Do you know them, I don’t, but still look with better eyes than that. How do you know that they are poor parents? To assume they are bad parents and that the child would be better off with someone else is, well just wrong! A darn good thing God don’t leave you in charge of judgment!

They must be desperate. Now they sure will be. I would think it would be a lot easier to get a job even if it meant moving to Texas or Little Rock, Ar. to find one, than to kill a alligator. Evidently they have been doing this for some time to have a place to get gasoline in exchange for an alligator. What else do they barter for? I think other people have been doing that for many yrs. I know a woman that has a barber shop from Kanis Rd. that has talked to me about her times of bartering. That was many yrs ago that she talked to me about her doing that. So I imagine it has been around for many yrs. These people with the alligators won't have to worry for many many yrs to come about doing anything like that again. A hard way to make a living. The poor baby is the one that is going to suffer from this. Sometimes though it is best that a child be taken away from parents that don't know any better-ha than to live that way. The child will be better off away from that family. At least she has a chance of growing up and being really taken care of and at least will be clean and hopefully grow up to know right from wrong. Hopefully she will know God and happiness.
