3 churches vandalized in Lonoke County

LONOKE, AR – Three churches in Lonoke County were vandalized last Saturday. All three churches are located along Highway 31 and had their windows or glass doors smashed.

Timeline of vandalism:

  • New Horizon Baptist Church, Hwy 31 North in Ward. Window smashed, reported ate 12:09pm.
  • Providence United Methodist Church, Hwy 31 North in Austin. Two windows smashed, reported at 2:27pm.
  • Wattensaw Baptist Church, Hwy 31 North in Lonoke. Two front glass doors smashed, reported at 4:00pm.

In all three cases, it is unknown if anything was taken from the property.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office at 501-676-3000 or 501-676-3001.
