LITTLE ROCK, AR – Three men from Fresno, CA were arrested in Phoenix, AZ in connection with the murder of Kylaus Williams on Monday night.

Police in Phoenix were alerted by Pulaski County Sheriff’s investigators that three suspects in murder were going to be in the Phoenix area. Eric Emerson, Trenell Emerson, and Donnie Maiden were arrested Wednesday morning on drug and firearm possession charges.

On Thursday, sheriff’s investigators obtained warrants and flew to Phoenix to interview the suspects. Trenell Emerson and Maiden are charged with capital murder. Maiden is charged with hindering apprehension. They are awaiting extradition to Arkansas.

According to the sheriff’s office report, Williams was found shot to death in the driveway of 6907 Highway 161 on Monday night. The report says that Williams’ pants were around his knees and that “there appeared to be drag marks in the bloodstains on the driveway.” Five shell casings were found at the scene.

A witness at the home says he saw a silver Chevy Impala backing out of the driveway after the shots were fired. That car was found less than a mile away at Highway 161 and Linzy Loop.

When I read comments on AR news websites involving a black person being involved in a crime, the issue of racism, from both sides, is undeniable! Wow. Well, it's impossible for me to pass judgement based on this information alone. I feel sorry for the families of the victim, and for those of the offenders. RIP, man.

For those of you making racist comments and assuming the young man who lost his life deserved what happened to him should take a moment and consider the fact that we all have imperfections and make bad decisions in life and the color of our ski has nothing to do with that. Before casting judgment, realize that you do not know the whole story. The young man that lost his life was a son, grandson, brother, and friend. Kylaus Williams may have made bad choices, but don't we all? Kylaus Williams wasn't perfect. None of us are. And no one deserves to lose their life at the hands of another

i peridocally read the comments for clarification from people who either know the people involved and the circumstances. But I see that some people use this as an opportunity to just be ugly and nasty about things they don't know anything about

Mr. Williams must have been getting his dope from California, this was a gang related drug hit.

Really, WOW where have you been? Literally living in the back woods yourself!! What makes you think that you are any better than the young man that lost his life. You don't know what the circumstance were and you shouldn't be so darn ugly. That was a life, that was precious life.

Can't hide when running from the law, even if you dump the impala. Black is not a racial word, its a word describing an individual who has took another human being life. We can say black on black crime is rampant, and not be called a racist, I can say this thugger and his thugger friends deserve to be in hell, deserve to be put away for their pathetic lifes, and they are a pain to the American people and not be instead, we can call them black people and not be a racist, but if I write what is the truth, then I become a backwoods, redneck, hillbilly, senseless, coward hiding behind my computer, scared, pos, etc, racist. This is what some people think when the truth is
