5-year-old killed in I-40 wreck

CONWAY, AR - A rush hour crash on I-40 claimed the life of a 5-year-old child.

State police say the crash happened east of Conway around 6pm.

At least three vehicles were involved. The Faulkner county coroner tells us, Katrina Struble of Conway, died of closed head injuries when a pick-up rear-ended the car in which she was a passenger.

Traffic was backed up at the time of the crash because of another accident about two miles farther down the interstate.

Nothing is worse than the sudden unexpected loss of a child. We are supposed to bury our parents. We are not supposed to have to bury our children. Goddess, wrap your arms around this family in their time of need and bring some measure of comfort in their pain. Blessed be.

God be with the family and be comforted in knowing that, that precious child is in Heaven. God please be with all those involved heal their bodies and comfort them through their times of need.
