LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Little Rock police are investigating 8 robberies in the past ten days, making no arrests.
The latest robbery happened at Taco Bell and KFC Restaurant on West Markham Tuesday night. Investigators say three men went inside the restaurant with guns and made one of the workers open the safe. They did get some cash and even managed to steal money from a customer.
On Monday, police reported a robbery at Taco Bell on North Rodney Parham. Investigators say workers started closing for the night, when two men approached them demanding money from the safe. But the crooks left empty handed, after workers failed to open the safe.
On Sunday, another roberry reported at Wendy's on West Markham. Police say in this case, three men went inside with a handgun, demanding and getting cash. They left without hurting anyone.
There are also five other crimes reported at Urban Swagg on Bowman, Valero Gas on Mabelvale West, Metropolitan Bank on Cantrell, Burger King on Cantrell, and Exxon on Cantrell.
Sergeant Cassandra Davis says investigators found at least one connection.
"There were two reports where there was a mention of two-way radios. So we are looking to see if those incidents are related," said Davis.
