LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Department of Higher Education says 13,147 incoming freshmen have said "yes" to a lottery scholarship so far.
ADHE says another 4,302 applications are in an “eligibility pending” status which includes students who applied after the June 1st deadline or have not provided all needed information to complete processing. Those items include high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores.
Interim director Shane Broadway says as of Thursday, 345 applications have been ruled ineligible and another 148 applicants have been awarded a scholarship but have yet to accept.
ADHE advises parents that are unsure if there student has received a lottery scholarship to contact the department directly at 501-371-2000 or check the status instantly at the
department’s universal scholarship application.
