ASP Report Finding Marijuana in Horse Trailer in Pope County

RUSSELLVILLE, AR-- A truck pulling a horse trailer was pulled over and investigators say it turned out to be hauling drugs as well as horses.

According to an ASP report, a trooper with the state police observed a 1999 Ford F150 pulling a horse trailer, traveling eastbound on I-40.

After seeing the truck driving poorly, the trooper conducted a traffic stop near the 88 mile marker.

The street value of the 418 pounds of marijuana recovered in the stop was determined to be $668,000.
