CONWAY, AR - "It was just, it was a strange situation all the way around," said Det. Jason Cameron of the Conway Police Department.

A big mystery followed by a long and hard investigation -- and it all started at Museum Road Self Storage in Conway a few weeks ago. Police arrested Johnnie Ray Johnson for breaking into 19 of storage units and stealing a whole lot of stuff. Stolen items included a leaf blower, an xbox, roles of toilet paper ... and a bin full of adult novelty items.

"It was definitely surprising whenever we were going through property at Mr. Johnson's house and come across this stuff," said Cameron.

For weeks, detectives had no idea who any of the adult items belonged to. Then came the break they hoped for.

Explained Cameron, "I was driving down Oak Street the other day and I seen Seductions and I thought maybe they have some. So I just stopped in there by chance and asked them do you guys have a storage unit and they're like yes we do."

It all made sense. Adult boutique Seductions, which employees call the sexiest store in Conway, fell victim to the "sexiest crime in Conway," laughed store manager Markiba.

"They said we don't want any of it and I said ok," Markiba said of her conversation with detectives. "I said well the owner will come and claim it."

And that closed the case. A job well done for detectives, who only had one more question to answer: is this the sexiest crime in Conway?

"I don't know," laughed Cameron, shaking his head.

Police have yet to find the owners of a lot of the stolen items recovered from Johnnie Johnson's home. If you think some of the items could belong to you, Conway police ask that you give them a call.
