LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police arrested a man after they say they saw him try to rob another man at gunpoint.

Police say Deshaun Rushing approached a man walking across the parking lot of the closed El Chico's Restaurant on Breckenridge Drive, put a gun to his head and demanded money.

Detectives who were in the area saw the incident, identified themselves and told Rushing to drop the gun but he fled. He was arrested a short time later at an apartment on Old Forge Road.

Rushing has been charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property. He has pleaded not guilty. His bond has been set at $15,000.

Detectives believe Rushing is one of two men they had seen watching people at the ATM of Regions Bank, which is next door to El Chico's, earlier in the evening. The other suspect has been identified but not yet arrested.
