JACKSONVILLE, AR – Two hundred airmen from the Black Knights 19th Airlift Wing returned home Tuesday afternoon after spending 4-12 months overseas.

Hundreds of friends and family waited not-so-patiently on the tarmac of the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville for their loved ones to step off the plane.

Trina Felts is here waiting for her husband. “He always tells me ‘You will never understand what it is like over there and I will never understand what it is like to be you back here.’”

It has been 4 months since Trina last hugged her husband and she’s had her hands full while he’s been away. Trina has a 2-year-old son and is 6-months pregnant. Fortunately, she’s had some help.

“We have a lot of friends and a lot of family and my husband’s family is from here,” says Trina.

Finally, the long wait for the airmen to get off the plane is over and Trina is reunited with her husband, Staff Sgt. Jason Felts. The couple is looking forwards to some rest, relaxation, and making up for lost time.

“I’m happy to have him home finally and have my family complete.”
