It is shocking to see the majority of voters turning Republican this season and most of this has to do with the Heathcare bill which was passed in Washington. I am glad that many around the country didn't agree with those here in Arkansas and some are enjoying the benefits of that bill and others will enjoy it as well. My thoughts was of the future of the Social Security act, and Medicare as I voted and I knew that the Democrats was favoring it whereas the Republicans have openly stated that they want to eliminate it and the other social programs that Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson fought Republicans to get passed to assist those whom they saw in turmoil personally. I am one who support the working people first, and President Obama feels the same way. I supported the Democrats who voted against the bill to put Social Security under corporate control, which President George W. Bush proposed. There would be nothing for those on the program and there would be many starving right now.
