All I saw when my x husband was one were workers outside smoking, rude doctors and people parked in hallways just alone and sitting. My x was treated like a child so I asked him to come to my house. I am so thankful I did. Just because people divorce should not mean people should stop caring! Our adult sons were pleased. Currant husband was so helpful. People need to care about others more!

Nursing homes need to be evaluated more often and the state should not notify them when they are to be evaluated. Any one with a loved one in any nursing home should check on them and do not go at the same time every time they go. This way you will know what is going on and the staff does not know when to expect you.
