One simple rule should apply - "Can't feed em, don't breed em"

This is what's wrong with the world now. Everyone is selfish and have forgotten how to feel compassion for the less fortunate.

@thepitchpatch Typical comment from an ignorant individual. Have you had to grow up in poverty, your mother, with no education, belittling herself to put food on the table? Your father abandoning you for drugs and eight plus years in prison, leaving you homeless to live out of the back of a run down car? Not all these "grasshoppers" are lazy, sitting around on their bum all day waiting for the next check to get in. I've lived in that exact way, the eldest of three children moving town to town, living in shelters, comforting my litter sister and brother to sleep every night afraid that we might not eat tomorrow.

@whocares - "i was told that the government is about about to do away with all government supported assistance" Won't ever happen. If anything, the programs will be expanded.

China has the right idea - 1 child per family! Plus, if you can't afford to pay the bills for the ONE child, you shouldn't even have THAT one! As for supporting adults that COULD work, END IT and force them to support themselves.

If you don't pay in, fend for yourself. Since when is it the responsibility of the responsible to provide for the irresponsible? Remember the kids story about the ants & the grasshopper? Well, as far as I'm concerned, these "grasshoppers" have made their own beds and should be made to sleep in them! If I wanted to support a bunch of kids I would have some of my own! If YOU have them, support them YOURSELF!

i can understand the senior citizens on medicaid or medicare they have paid their debt to society but for everyone else its time to wake up and require a age limit on the care

Maybe the folks who "depend" on medicaid could find some way to help pay for their own medical care??? Perhaps they could buy their own birth control pills, condoms, hover-rounds, and all the other "necessities" that they have been accustomed to getting for FREE from the TAXPAYERS! I realize that there are folks out there who REALLY need assistance, but come on folks, enough is enough! I have a hard enough time paying for my OWN health care, health insurance, and everything else these days, and I am getting sick and tired of footing the bill for all the "have-nots" in our country. Just because you live here doesn't mean that you are ENTITLED to EVERYTHING FOR FREE that those who actually WORK for a living and PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES GET! TIME HAS COME FOR MANY OF THESE NON-WORKING FOLKS TO "MAN-UP" AND START PULLING THEIR OWN LOAD!!! This country was founded on hard work & sweat - these "freebie loving" people with numerous children, who only live to produce even MORE children, need to learn to fend for themselves and get their act together. Perhaps THEIR families can support them - oh yeah, I forgot, THEY are most likely on the "welfare/medicaid" train as well. Well, that train is just about to run off the tracks.
