FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) — An Arkansas man charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 1-year-old girl during a robbery in Oklahoma has been bound over for trial in Sequoyah County.

Authorities say 20-year-old Michael Clemente of Fort Smith is to be arraigned May 30.

Two other Arkansans face the same charges, 19-year-old Heather Ann Jones of Van Buren and 18-year-old Aaron Christopher Bowen of Fort Smith.

The baby was Jones' and investigators say the infant was in a car Jones drove for Clemente and Bowen when they went to rob a man at his Sequoyah County home in February 2010.

Gunfire ensued, and one of the shots that hit the car killed the baby, Elaine Keene.

Robbery victim 21-year-old Devin Andrew Jeremiah of Muldrow is charged with second-degree murder.
