MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. (AP) — Authorities in Baxter County have charged a 49-year-old Mountain View man with hacking a teenager's Facebook account and altering a photo to make it appear as if the youth had posed nude.

The Baxter Bulletin reports that Stephen Paul Simmons was arrested Wednesday on two counts of harassment.

The sheriff's office says it had to subpoena several Internet service providers and websites to learn Simmons' identity. Investigators say Simmons admitted to altering photos of the teenager when deputies interviewed him at his home. The victim lives in Mountain Home.

The sheriff's office says Simmons had photos of the victim on his home computer.

Simmons was released on $1,000 bond and is to be arraigned on Thursday.
