Ark. panel finds probable cause trooper broke law

The Arkansas Ethics Commission found probable cause that a state police captain who provided security for former Razorbacks coach Bobby Petrino broke the law when he accepted tickets and a Sugar Bowl ring from the Arkansas football program.

I agree with you @protector20 - I was being sarcastic in my "wow" remark...we need to move on from the Petrino debacle!

who cares about tickets, the ring might have been going a bit far but who cares about that also. the man is prepared to lay his life on the line to protect others that is why he is out there and they are tryng to get him in trouble...pitiful. there are better things to investigate

If the Ethics Commission were to look at the history of troopers who provided protection to Razorback coaches, they would probably find several more who accepted things they probably shouldn't have. Now if Petrino had given HIM $20,000, that might have been another issue. Some tickets and a ring? Give it a rest.
