LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The bus ride to the nation's capital to witness American history unfold surely did bring out some people. More than 325 people boarded buses to take the sixteen hour trip to see Mr. Obama take the oath for the second time.

Eighth grader Jaylen Spiller didn't make it to President Obama's first inauguration and had to watch it on TV. This time, he'll be right there.

"You can look at it on TV but to witness something like that for yourself makes it seem one hundred times better," Spiller said.

Inauguration coordinators predict fewer crowds this time than in 2009, but MLK Commission Director DuShun Scarbrough begs to difffer.  He has six buses going to D.C. this year, when in 2009, he had four.

"It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing for us, and you see all of the people in the parking lot waiting to witness such a historic event," Scarbrough said.

Students and seniors.  Blacks and whites.  Folks from all walks of life are on this trip.  No matter that difference, seeing the democratic process in action stirs up interest.

"It's still monumental in what it means for American history, and to get to be apart of that is a blessing. I'm very excited," Jackson Fitzgibbon said.

Maybe that's why Spiller wouldn't mind being a politician one day.

"If you have the chance to witness something like this, I think everybody should do it," Spiller said.

I knew we were doomed when I heard him say: "Welfare will make us stronger" - not even mentioning that we must find a way for allowing those here illegally to be able to stay . . - and - what is even Worse - the crowd cheered !!!!!!

If house thinks Obama has "kept us from a deep recession", then that person is obviously a fool. Germany pulling out the gold is just a start. As it stands right now, if any country decided to declare war on the USA, other countries would turn their cheeks and say "You had it coming." Obama has done absolutely nothing positive for this country, not one f'ing thing. His first four years were ran on lies, pure lies. Everything he said in his first campaign never happened. But then again, if a politicain ran a campaign based on honesty, they wouldnt win. They all BS us into belief. I dont give a flying fudge if the guys is black, caramel, burnt, white or whatever the hell he is, his first four years were a national disaster and the next four are not going to be any better. Look at it this way. This f'ing idiot actually believes that gun control is the answer to the violent crime problem. He is to f'ing blind, or dumb, to see the bigger picture. Clinton was not perfect, nor was either of the Bushs, but none of them are worse for us than this jerk off we have now. He does not have the country's best interest in mind, he has his own agenda and it is to do the USA pure harm. You dumbasses that support him just hang on for the ride and enjoy the freebies he is handing out while the rest of us pay for it. I say f' Obama and f' those that support his decisions and those that voted for him.

So why dont you stop your whining "he isnt my cnc" about our President because for you to be a vet it makes you seems very unpatriotic.

Always with the name calling and racism. It's people like you that keep it alive! By the way, congrats on your new president. Now that he has 4 more years, the black voices will be drowned out by the Hispanic voices in the near future. You've helped your race go from number 2 to number 3. Way to go!

I guess all those black folks who didn't vote for the usurper are racist too...The race card is all you fools have left...can't blame Bush anymore and for all of you Clintonites, guess you don't understand that the republican house & senate is what built up the Clinton "surplus" that the dem house & senate destroyed under the Bush administration..

Butch; Your post reminds me of a truck I saw here in Jax. The owner had a detailed tailgate. "Dear Obama voters, Thank you for showing the rest of the world that 51 percent of Americans are "blanking" idiots!". The u was replaced by an asterisk. House; him being black is not the reason I don't like him; I don't like him because he has a socialist agenda for our country; not my style, nor is it the style of any true American. Today, from sea to shining sea, abortion was the topic in our churches. When I went to the store after church, and seen well dressed blacks, I assumed they had come from church also. Made me wonder if abortion was a topic in their churches today. After all, most are Democrats, the party of abortion. Obama cut the welfare to work program. More votes that way! His DOJ allows Black Kitty Cats to "monitor" polls in Philly, with billy clubs. Wish they would have tried that at my polling place! Cowards. Nah, him being black isn't the problem; him being a socialist is. And he is NOT my CnC! Jesus is! And I will render unto Caesar only to a point. That's why we have a 2nd Ammendment!
