Arkansas Congressman Asks for Healthcare Act Delay

Arkansas Congressman Tim Griffin joined other conservatives in asking the president to delay implementing the Affordable Healthcare Act.

WASHINGTON, D.C._ Arkansas Congressman Tim Griffin is joining other GOP legislators in asking the president to delay the Affordable Health Care Act for all.

Earlier this week, the  House of Representatives passed Rep. Griffin's bill which authorized President Obama's delay of the employer mandate. Griffin says businesses are not the only ones who should be exempt.

"Whenever Washington helps businesses and ignores families and workers, Americans have a duty to speak up," Rep. Griffin said.

"Let's be fair about this. If the president is going to help out businesses by exempting them from the law, he ought to give the same relief to folks like you," Rep. Griffin said.

Congressman Griffin made the announcement in the GOP's weekly address.
