CORINTH, Miss. (AP) — Corinth Police Chief David Lancaster says no foul play is suspected after a woman was found dead in her vehicle Saturday in a Corinth convenience store parking lot.

Alcorn County Coroner Jay Jones tells the Daily Corinthian that the woman has been identified as 32-year-old Meleah Lewis of Danville, Ark.

Jones says he is waiting for the results of an autopsy report expected to be released this week.

Lancaster says there were no signs of a struggle nor was any blood found in the victim's car.

Jones says Lewis' car keys and wallet with money were still in her possession.

Jones says surveillance tapes show Lewis had purchased a pack of cigarettes in the store at 8 p.m. Saturday. A store employee found her later.

when are we going to get an update of what the cause of death was. Also, she was a local. She was not from Danville. She grew up in Little Rock and went to CAC high school.
